Anxiety, Plagues, some Useful Jewish Wisdom, and T’fillin Wrapping
Fast of the First Born Morning Study: Anxiety, Plagues, some Useful Jewish Wisdom, and T’fillin Wrapping.
Wednesday, April 8, 8:30 AM via Zoom (see link below)
The morning leading into Pesach it is tradition for first-born sons to fast, demonstrating gratitude at surviving the 10th plague. There is an accompanying tradition teaching that we can skip the fasting if we study that morning instead. So we learn! And this year, we’ll apply the wisdom of our sages to the topic of Anxiety and Plagues. Afterwards, in response to popular request, Rabbi Vaisberg will lead us in wrapping t’fillin over zoom.
If you cannot join the Zoom meeting, please feel free to go onto Facebook Live on the
Temple B’nai Abraham Facebook page.
