Rosh Hodesh 5781with Cantor Jessica Epstein and Melissa Weiner, Director of Jewish Learning, sponsored by Sisterhood-The Women's Connection
Rosh Hodesh is the celebration of the new Hebrew month and is a special time for women. Sisterhood—The Women’s Connection welcomes all women to join in an evening of learning, warmth, and spiritual growth. The Spring Rosh Hodesh event features a Women’s Seder before Passover.
Join us each or any month and feel the sisterhood connection.
In this Week of Resilience, we find strength in our traditions.
Although it is the middle of winter, we have hope for new growth and a fresh start.
The ancient new year of the trees, or Rosh Hashanah L’ilanot, was thought to be sacred to the women of Israel.
It celebrated the new year of God’s female aspect, the Shechinah.
