Mindfulness Zoom Sessionwith Rabbi Marcelo Bronstein
Mindfulness Zoom Session with Rabbi Marcelo Bronstein
Tuesday, Mar 31, 2020 8:00 PM
Topic: Anxiety in the Face of the Unknown; A Jewish Mindfulness Response.
In this introductory workshop we will explore what Jewish mindfulness is. We will touch on the first level of the deep dive into ourselves that this dimension offers. Rabbi Bronstein will explain his personal journey, coming from the Psychological and Neurolinguistic world and how he now lives in the intersection between Jewish Wisdom, Psychology, and Mindfulness. The Jewish tradition has many tools accessible to us, if only we allow for an unconventional perspective.

Marcelo Bronstein is a clinical Psychologist, Rabbi, and Mindfulness facilitator. He has served as a senior Rabbi at Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in Manhattan for twenty-four years. In that role, he brought his passion for Jewish mindfulness to his congregation in partnership with his beloved friend Rabbi Rachel Cowan. Marcelo’s reverence for nature led him to move, together with his wife, Karina Zilberman, to “La Ecovilla,” in Costa Rica, a 21st century sustainable community that he now calls home. He is now a part-time rabbi at congregation B’nai Jeshurun. In addition, he has a private practice as a mentor/coach in Costa Rica, he leads Jewish Mindfulness retreats in nature, and sees clients in person and online.
