At the temple on the morning of the Midnight Run, students will package and sort the abundant amount of food, clothing and blankets which were generously donated by the TBA congregational family. Then under the supervision of Director of Jewish Learning Melissa Weiner, Jewish Learning Program Special Projects Coordinator Arleen Lichtenstein and Rabbi Kulwin, (who will drive the 26-foot truck packed to the gills with the donated items) and parent volunteers, the students are transported to Newark. The teens will assist in distributing food, baby items, clothing, coats and household goods to the people in need who came to the 16th Avenue church location.
