Last year I had the privilege of attending AIPAC’s Policy Conference for the first time in Washington, DC.  I was moved by the support, love and passion I saw around me. Every race, religion and political orientation was united in a love for Eretz Yisrael. We heard major politicians from both parties, and had an incredible keynote by Prime Minister Netanyahu. We welcomed into our hearts those families who have been touched by terrorism, as well as those benefitting from the cutting-edge health technologies for which Israel is known. It is truly a place to go to recharge your “Israel batteries.” Outside of the larger gatherings, there were breakout sessions with the finest scholars, commentators, ambassadors, rabbis, journalists and thinkers about a wide variety of topics from Israeli wines and craft beers, to terrorism, to role of Azerbaijan in the region. There is truly something for everyone.

I hope you will consider joining me and many of your fellow congregants this year at AIPAC’s Policy Conference on March 20-22, 2016 in Washington, DC.  It is the Superbowl of pro-Israel advocacy, when over 16,000 activists come together in our nation’s capital to lobby for a safe and secure Israel. The Conference culminates in the opportunity for us to lobby our member of Congress on the pro-Israel agenda on Tuesday. To view videos and more information from last year’s Conference, please click here.

You can register now to take advantage of the early bird discount of $499 ($399 for AIPAC Club members). On December 1 the cost of the Conference will be  $599 ($499 for Club members) and is fully refundable until January 8.   Once you are registered, you will receive a list of the 14+ hotels within the AIPAC Policy Conference hotel block which range in price, location, and amenities.  You can book your hotel through their secure system and receive a full refund until February 19.  Our AIPAC staff will also inform us when there is a discount available on Amtrak (it is usually $102 roundtrip).

I know we can grow our congregation’s delegation to Policy Conference this year, and I hope you will join me for this meaningful experience.  Please be in touch with Alexa Silverman at asilverman@aipac.org or 973-202-8191 if you would like more information.
