Makom, the Place for Jewish Teens: Formal & Informal Programming for grades 8-12
Temple B’nai Abraham is excited to announce Makom, a new program for teens, grades 8-12 designed to keep them engaged with the synagogue and the Jewish friendships they have made here. The hope is to also engage their minds in new ways of thinking about Jewish living, community, politics, history and tikkun olam. The program combines the informal learning of Tikkun Olam and BBG/AZA with a more formal structured learning environment.
Four teen opportunities that combine to make the MAKOM experience...Choose one, choose all...just choose!
- Tuesday Night (1-2 times a Month Formal Education Program)
- Teen Tikkun Olam (1 time a month on Sundays)
- BBYO, BBG, AZA (Tuesday evenings opposite the Formal Education Program)
- M.I.T. Program (Madrichim in Training)Volunteer to help in our Education Program (Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday afternoons)
