Tickets

Tickets will be mailed the week of September 11 to members in good standing. 

Please note: All children through age 29 will be issued tickets automatically and mailed with Membership tickets.

Good standing– Dues and Building Fund paid in full by August 31.  Members with approved payment arrangements must be current with their schedule.  Special arrangements may be made in confidence by calling Gail Milchman, Executive Director at the Temple office, 973-994-2290 extension 215.

Guest Tickets: are available for relatives for a donation of $136 per ticket for all High Holy Day services and will be mailed with membership tickets.  If you require guest tickets*, please complete the enclosed form or online @ www.tbanj.org by August 25

*Should your relative be a member in good standing of a synagogue, please contact the office for details regarding complimentary tickets.


 

 

Yizkor Book Listings

One of our many traditions is to publish, in conjunction with our Yom Kippur Yizkor Service, a booklet honoring the memory of our deceased loved ones. Names in the booklet are not automatically carried forward from year to year.

To place the names of your loved ones in the 2017 edition, please complete Secure form online or  print Yizkor Book Form  and return no later than August 25.

  • 2:30 PM Healing Service: Yom Kippur is day to ask both God and those whom we have hurt for  forgiveness. The Day of Atonement is also about being whole, one – at-one-ment. On Yom Kippur afternoon we will hold a Healing Service for those who seek wholeness – spiritual, emotional and physical. Our quiet worship together will be a time of solace, renewal and hope.

*Every service in the Ross Sanctuary is open to children of all ages. Parents are kindly asked to ensure that their children behave in such a way that will preserve the mood and dignity of our services.

Parents are encouraged to bring their children to Second Day Rosh HaShanah Services in the Ross Sanctuary.
Please note there are no Family Services on Second Day Rosh HaShanah.


Parking

Parking locations and information will be provided with your High Holy Day tickets.

HANDICAPPED DRIVERS

Handicapped parking is for handicapped drivers only.

  • Pre-registration is required.  Please contact the temple officeat tbainfo@tbanj.org or 973.994.2290
  • All cars must display a state issued handicapped permit.
  • A parking permit will be issued and must be shown to attendants.
  • Reserved handicapped parking spaces will be released by 10:30 AM

Professional traffic directors have been engaged to expedite parking. Please follow their directions for your safety.


PARKING LOCATIONS – These are the locations where we have permission to park. Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not park at any other locations.  Cars parked in other private locations will be subject to towing.

  • TEMPLE PARKING LOT Attendants will guide you.
  • BERNHEIM APTER KREITZMAN FUNERAL HOME – 68 Old Short Hills Road  Available on all days.  Please cross at traffic light on Northfield and East Cedar.  A van will shuttle between the Temple and Bernheim Apter Kreitzman.

DO NOT PARK AT 315 E. NORTHFIELD ROAD – YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED

DO NOT PARK ON NORTHFIELD ROAD, EAST CEDAR STREET, OR OLD SHORT HILLS ROAD. Livingston Police will issue a summons to offenders.

DO NOT PARK WITHIN 50 FEET OF THE STOP SIGNS AT THE TOP OF THE TEMPLE EXIT DRIVEWAY.  Livingston Police will issue a summons to offenders.

Seating
Some seats in the Ross Sanctuary have been reserved as part of the Temple building and capital fund efforts. Nameplates designate the reserved seats. All other seats are available on a non-reserved basis.

The Ross Sanctuary is equipped with an audio-assist system.  Equipment is limited – contact the temple office to reserve a head set at 973.993.2290 or tbainfo@tbanj.org.
